Coniston Walking Festival

Welcome to the Coniston Walking Festival 2008, a walking festival which aims to reveal and celebrate the landscape in and around Coniston, the Lake District.

Featuring a lively programme of evening entertainment, daytime activities for all the family, art installations and historical adventures, it's a walking festival with a difference.

UPDATE
The Coniston Walking Festival team would like to thank all of our participants for making the weekend a fantastic success.  Some of the highlights for the weekend were the torchlit walk to THICKspace, the superb music on Friday and Saturday night, and of course the appearance by Nick Crane on Saturday evening!
